President Don Dooley, who is the past founder of Molectron Detector, announced that they have designed and now manufacture a complete line of LiTaO3 Pyroelectric Detectors that are direct, PIN compatible replacements for the old Molectron Detectors.  “We’ve taken advantage of our intimate knowledge of the P1-series performance and packaging to create a new set of products that are equal in performance and of greater value (i.e. lower prices)”…says Don.

Our SPC series of detectors include discrete elements from 1 mm to 9 mm diameter.  Our SPH series of Hybrid Detectors include these same element sizes mated to both Voltage and Current Mode circuits.   All of these devices are packaged in miniature TO5 or TO8 Cans.
