Oxxius introduces the SLIM-561, 150 mW

The SLIM-561-150 is a CW DPSS laser, operating at 561 nm with 150 mW output power. This newcomer to
the SLIM product line shares the outstanding performance and compact form factor of its 473 and 532 nm
counterparts.
This laser is available in an “OEM” version designed for integration and a “Plug & Play”, CDRH compliant
version for convenient laboratory use.
Its optical characteristics combine ideal transverse mode (M²< 1.2), ultra-low noise (< 0.2 % rms), and
exceptional pointing stability (< 10 μrad over 3 ° C). With a typical power dissipation of 15 W, the SLIM-561-
150 fits all requirements to be integrated in flow cytometers, confocal microscopes or other analytical
instruments.
The low noise 150 mW output of the SLIM dramatically improves the signal-to-noise ratio, and therefore the
throughput, in applications such as cell sorting, near field scanning microscopy, or photobleaching, notably
for excitation of PE or fruit proteins.
The SLIM’s single frequency emission also makes it a top-notch solution for Raman spectroscopy,
holography, or laser Doppler velocimetry.
