Dear distribution partners,

I would like to inform you about a new product line “LD-12xx nm series” of Innolume’s Quantum Dot diode lasers enabling for the first time low-cost Raman amplification for telecom’s O-band, mainly targeting GPON Reach Extension application.

So far we have two wavelengths ~1240nm/~1260nm to start, basically our technology will enable to manufacture diode lasers of similar performance at any wavelength in the 12xx nm range.

This product line may enable a new market for O-Band Amplifiers. It’ll be interesting to start cooperating with equipment manufacturers and since it is a young application also with Service Providers, to understand their needs and interest to move into this approach.
