The Product Information Bulletin (PIB) describes the technology of dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) used for telecom fiber-optic transmission systems. The PIB also describes how Bristol’s 228, 328 and 428 Series Optical Wavelength Meters match the laser testing requirements of DWDM systems.

Bristol Instruments has seen continued growth since the introduction of the telecom series of Optical Wavelength Meters. We expect the telecom market to continually grow as new test stations are built, and with the retirement of older test stations that have competing Agilent and EXFO-Burleigh wavelength meters.
