Quantronix Corporation Releases new Transient Absorption Spectrometer


	E. SETAUKET, N.Y., May 2010 – Quantronix Corporation announces a new addition to its scientific lasers product line. The inSpect-TA is a Transient Absorption (TA) spectrometer, designed to accommodate the broadest range of TA measurements. It has a flexible modular design to allow for choice of “pump” and “probe” pulses and an easy interchange between two modes of operation – transmission and reflection. inSpect-TA's compact design saves valuable table space and offers unmatched stability and hands-free operation.

	The pump source takes advantage of the compact and wide gap-free tunability of the Quantronix Palitra series of Optical Parametric Amplifiers, offering a pump range of 230 nm -22 µm.

	The system features complete automation with inSpect Commander software. The supplied software in combination with the broad bandwidth of the white-light continuum probe, allows recording of the frequency resolved difference absorbance signal at various delays and reconstructing 2D time-frequency resolved image plots of the measurement.
