 Vescent Photonics is proud to be introducing at CLEO our new SLICE multi-faceted line of control electronics. SLICE (a SLICE of our Integrated Control Electronics) offers the lowest noise current control available, sub-millikelvin temperature stability, high-bandwidth high-voltage amplification, servoing capabilities, economical laser & amplifier driving, and much more.

 

 



LOW-NOISE ECONOMICAL CURRENT CONTROL is now available from the SLICE-DCC a Dual-Channel Current Controller.  The SLICE-DCC offers high modulation bandwidth as well as up to 12 V compliance voltage for driving conventional diodes, QCLs, ICLs, and GaN devices. With up to 2 A capacity, the SLICE-DCC is just right for tapered & semiconductor optical amplifiers as well.

 

But SLICE is much more than current control. SLICE is a series of precision control devices designed for high performance as well as economy.

Vescent is teaming up with Menhir Photonics


Menhir Photonics focuses on customer satisfaction with their the Menhir-1550 ultrafast laser. It is the first commercially available C-band ultrafast laser with gigahertz repetition rates.  It offers low-noise 200-fs pulses at repetition rates as high as 2.5 GHz.  It also features transform-limited pulses from a hermetically sealed housing and is designed to address the challenges of precise microwave generation, optical communication, and timing work.

 

Vescent is teaming with Menhir to introduce the Menhir-1550 laser to the US market. We are pleased to offer our customers new capabilities in state-of-the-art laser performance.
