Come visit EOT at CLEO:2017 & Laser World of Photonics Munich 2017

Every year, EOT exhibits at several laser industry trade shows. We will again be attending CLEO:2017 in San Jose, CA, May 16-18, and invite you to Booth 1817 to chat with us about new and existing product lines and specific applications. 

We will also be traveling to Munich, Germany for the Laser World of Photonics Trade Fair, June 26-29, where all areas of photonics come together to result in one of the largest trade shows in the industry. Come visit us in Hall B1, Stand 618 to talk about how we can meet your application needs.

EOT Mentors Local High School Teams in FIRST Robotics District Competition

In early April, nearly 400 local high school teams competed in the Traverse City FRC District Competition

The Suttons Bay Norseman Robotics Team, mentored by EOT's Evan Rogers and Jim Niessink, earned a top ranking in the qualification matches which qualifies them for the Michigan State Championship. 

Additionally, the Traverse City St. Francis High School Robotics Team did well enough in the qualifying matches to be selected as the 3rd robot on the three-member alliance that went on to win the finals competition. A special thank-you to Geoff Niessink and the EOT machine shop for lending their time and ideas.

Mesos Series 4500-4600nm High Power Optical Isolators

EOT"s Mesos Series is designed for use with QCLs in the 4500 - 4600nm region. It eliminates frequency instability in QCLs and prevents optical damage due to back reflections. Its rugged design is suitable for harsh operating environments. The isolator provides >30dB isolation for power levels up to 2.5W and >65% transmission at 22¡ÆC. An optional waveplate is also available.
