SPCImage NG FLIM Analysis Runs GPU Processing

Decay analysis of FLIM data with high numbers of pixels and time channels by iterative convolution procedures can take tens of minutes. bh¡¯s new generation SPCImage NG reduces processing times to seconds. The FLIM data are transferred into a GPU (Graphics Processor Unit), which then runs the de-convolution and fit procedure for a large number of pixels in parallel. GPU processing is running on NVIDIA cards and a number of other NVIDIA-compatible devices. The image shown below were recorded with 1024 x 1024 pixels and 1024 time channels (left) and with 256 x 256 pixels and 256 time channels (right). The processing times with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 7.0 GPU are indicated in the images. Please see www.becker-hickl.com/news.
