The main feature of Large Aperture Attenuators is 30 mm and larger clear apertures. 

 

The assembly incorporates rotating ¥ë/2 phase Waveplate and one or two thin film polarizers. Half waveplate rotates the polarization

before TFP, which separate s-polarized and p-polarized beams. The intensity ratio of separated beams is continuously tuned by

rotating the waveplate in the holder. 

 

Polarizers are housed in special design opto-mechanical adapter, that allows angle adjustment to find the optimal angle of incidence.

Some models come with beam dump included in the assembly for easier integration.
