AdvR joins Covesion as part of Hawthorn Photonics

We’re delighted to share a major development with you, one that marks an exciting new chapter for Covesion and our Parent company from the US,  Hawthorn Photonics group.

AdvR Inc., a US-based specialist in non-linear optics and quantum photonics, has joined the Hawthorn Photonics group alongside Covesion. This strategic move brings together AdvR’s in-depth knowledge in materials such as KTP, LN, and TFLN with Covesion’s world-leading capabilities in MgO:PPLN technology.

Together, we are building an integrated group that strengthens our global offering, enabling us to serve scientific and industrial customers with a broader, more advanced portfolio of photonics solutions.

With manufacturing and engineering operations across North America and the UK, and a product portfolio spanning 350 nm to 6000 nm, we are now positioned to:

• Support more applications across quantum sensing, timing, and computing, as well as spectroscopy, secure communications, lasers, and biomedical imaging.
• Offer a wider range of high-performance optical components.
• Deliver faster turnaround and more responsive local support.
• Collaborate more closely on customized system design and integration.
