An Acousto-Optic tunable filter is a pass-band transmission filter, which exploits the acousto-optic interaction inside an anisotropic medium. AO tunable flters are generally fabricated in Tellurium Dioxide, operating within the visible to near/mid infra-red. The AO tunable filter allows the user to select and transmit a single wavelength, or in some cases a selection of multiple discrete wavelengths from the incoming light. The center of the pass-band may be selected simply by tuning the drive frequency.

AOTF 2837-31 350-430nm Tunable Filter AOTF 350-430nm Tunable Filter tailored for laser line selection applications. Wavelengths are diffracted collinearly across the wavelength range. The filter resolution is 1.0nm at 390nm and the active aperture is 2.5mm.
